Absolutely fantastic event, superb location and very interactive and friendly enthusiasts. The layout is perfect, contained within the site, it makes for a really authentic atmosphere. Everyone was so knowledgeable and friendly and engaging, encouraging us to hold kit and ask questions, which really had the kids excited. Good food and snacks and lots to browse. The flyover from the Spitfire was almost as good as the battle re-enactment. Parking was free and plentiful. A perfect day out.

Can not thank you enough my sister and I took a 92 year old gentleman who had the best time today and to have the Lancaster fly so close over the top of us was the icing on the cake 

Was my first time and it was absolutely brilliant, it was so much better than I expected, what a great education and fun day out for the family , I’d wish I done both days .Be back definitely for next year.

“Having served for a number of years in the british army, coming here today was like going back in time.
The smells of hexmin fires cooking, old canvas army tents etc..The sounds of machine gun fire with soldiers in old uniforms is amazing.As well as the ladies singing al the old war songs.
Walking into the show literally took my breath away.
Every part of the show is amazing. Lots of army vehicles to look at as well as different army camps.
All the food stalls have been great too.
I highly recommend the show. One of the best if not the best old military settings I’ve ever seen. I feel as though I’ve gone back in time.
